GBA has an excellent track record of hosting social activities every month with our staff and their families. Even with the curveballs and lockdowns thrown at us, our resilient team found ways to safely come together throughout the year.
The Social Club committee meets monthly to organise and plan events, and we're proud of our team's excellent attendance.
A summary of some highlights are below.
July – Friday BBQ after work, first once since COVID19 - and we welcomed a Table Tennis table which has made for some healthy competition!
August – Smoking Guns East V West smoko competition
September – Lara Wetlands overnight stay
October – Secret Santa and a Ladies Roses and Things lunch
October – To celebrate Think Pink Day on 28th October 2020, we hosted a Morning Tea and raised $246 for Breast Cancer and painted one of their fingernails PINK.
November – Melbourne Cup luncheon
November – Big Aussie BBQ raising money for Prostate Cancer. We raised $2418.78
November – 75th Anniversary cake for both offices and gifting of Partner’s Christmas presents
December – Christmas BBQ
Whilst last year looked a little different, we always enjoy celebrating our achievements and enjoying life in the outback.
