REPAIRING FLOOD DAMAGED ROADS

Due to the intermittent rain pattern in western Queensland the transport infrastructure is generally not designed as “all weather access” and is subject to flooding when it does rain.  These wet spells, depending on intensity, can damage the infrastructure as show below from the 2013 floods.
